Where did your conlang's videos went? I was about to watch them so to make a conlang of my very own but I guess I am simply gonna ask for some conlang sketching tips then. Would you mind?
Hiii! You’re able to view my conlang videos about esperantidos and tokiponidos on my youtube channel, here. The videos about Aaltok are unlisted individually, but are in a public playlist on my channel, here :)
As far a tips for conlanging go, it’s just a couple things that I wish I’d internalised a while ago:
1) Anchor the purpose of your construction to an idea you have a strong connection with - be it a fantasy setting u love, a silly phonemic inventory, a morphosyntactic pattern that makes u happy, etc. It can be anything, but keep it as simple as you’re able to, and refer to it constantly throughout your process.
2) Don’t do anything you don’t wanna! This is your thing! If naturalism suggests - even if it requires you to do something, ultimately the creator’s (your) vision of morphoaesthetics will bear the final verdict on the quality of a strongly constructed language
Thanks for reaching out hope this is helpful! <3
